We stopped in St. Louis to check out the Gateway Arch. We wanted to go up to the top but it was like a three-hour wait. They had a Lewis and Clark museum and other sites to scope. Our last stop before coming home was in Kansas City, MO. We asked around to find the best/most famous BBQ in town and a couple of people lead to us to Jack Stack's. It was pretty good, though the sauce was little on the sweet side. Grace got beef Burnt Ends and pork ribs and Lance got huge beef ribs. Well worth the stop even if it took a few minutes of searching.

The cars going up in the arch are really cramped and hot so it was just as well you didn't wait - and the view is pretty good, but again after 3 hours it would have been a let down.
